A common indication that there is flea activity is the increase in scratching and/or grooming of your pet. Many humans also experience having flea bites which leave itchy red hives/rashes on your skin.

Treatment

After identifying signs that there are indeed flea activity in your home there are some measures you can take to help alleviate and prevent further infestation:

• Inspect cracks and crevices for flea activity.
• Use a vacuum to clean up any visible fleas and eggs.
• Clean your home.
• Wash clothes and bedding frequently.
• See a doctor/bring your pets to the veterinarian to treat flea bites.
